Learning Circle Program

YNPN Denver successfully created and offered this program in 2007 and YNPN San Diego hopes to bring the same program success to this community. Each learning circle provides nonprofit learning to young people working, volunteering, or interested in the nonprofit sector. YNPN Denver Learning Circles include: leadership, fundraising, and marketing.

The YNPN Learning Circles committee provides facilitated discussions, peer coaching, mentoring, support, resources, and relationship building for young non-profit professionals in the metro area. This program will give non-profit leaders the extra support they need to address the challenging issues they face on a regular basis. Learning Circles are composed of seven to ten non-profit leaders committed to supporting one another. They are organized according to specifics fields within the nonprofit sector.

Mentorship Program

This program would match young nonprofit professionals with seasoned professionals in the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors. The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and Colorado College's Public Interest Fellowship Program have successfully demonstrated the value of this program and we would like to bring the same benefits to young nonprofit professionals throughout the San Diego community.

If you are interested in helping to develop this program, participate as a mentee, or become a mentor, please contact YNPN San Diego.
