Fundraising is crucial to the success of YNPN San Diego. The Fundraising Committee’s priority will focus on implementing the strategies outlined in YNPN San Diego’s new strategic plan from Spring 2010. To that end, we need energetic, enthusiastic volunteers to join our Fundraising Committee who are interested in applying their knowledge and expertise to exciting projects that will ensure YNPN San Diego’s success.

The Fundraising Committee meets on the last Thursday of every month and focuses on the following areas:

The Fundraising Committee is responsible for securing contributions from individuals and corporations, establishing relationships with representatives from the corporate sector, applying for organizational and individual awards for YNPN San Diego and developing earned income strategies. The Fundraising Committee will work closely with the Member Relations Committee, program committees (Meet and Greet and Professional Development) and Partnership Committee.

This is sure to be a fun, exciting and very hands-on committee, and one that you will not want to miss out on. Individuals interested in individual, corporate, community and foundation fundraising are encouraged to participate. The time commitment for committee members is minimal, but the rewards are high!

YNPN San Diego has created its first comprehensive resource development plan. The Fundraising Committee is now in the process of implementing the new Strategic Plan so be sure to join the committee if you have interest in participation.
