Jessica Rodgers, Advisory Board Member
Jessica Rodgers is the Communications and Development Coordinator at 211 San Diego. Jessica has been participating with YNPN San Diego in some capacity since March 2009. Jessica worked as Development Associate at the San Diego Public Library Foundation during 2010, prior to which she held the position of Executive Assistant at 211 San Diego. She first joined the San Diego nonprofit community when she worked at Volunteer San Diego as the Program Associate.
Jessica earned a BA with Honors in Sociology at Scripps College. In addition to nonprofit work in San Diego, Jessica's held positions with Jumpstart and Oxfam America. She holds a teaching credential in social science and has experience working one-to-one with students who have dyslexia and ADHD. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys writing for her food blog, baking, cooking and reading books related to how the brain works and, of course, books related to food in any capacity.
