Professional Development Series...
In 2009 YNPN San Diego will launch its first Professional Development Series! These workshops for emerging leaders by emerging leaders will be held every other month beginning in January from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Enhance your career by attending our professional development workshops addressing various topics pertinent to emerging leaders BY emerging leaders within the nonprofit sector.
Based on the 2008 member survey, YNPN San Diego is responding to membership's request to have more professional development opportunities for emerging nonprofit leaders. We are working hard to bring the local membership the highest quality, FREE, workshops that provide resources and networking. Some of the workshops being planned for the 2009-2010 Professional Development Series include:

Join YNPN San Diego and leaders from the San Diego nonprofit community to discuss what leadership looks like throughout the generations. Listen in as our panelists discuss what each generation brings to the leadership table and how we can together prepare for the future of leadership. Following the panel, we will open the space with facilitated group conversations about multiple generations working together to advance the nonprofit community in San Diego. Join our panelists and your colleagues as they share their own experiences and lessons learned related to leadership and provide you with an opportunity to ask questions, get feedback and share your own input on multigenerational leadership.

All of YNPN San Diego’s programs are free to its members, but there is a cost to coordinate these events, bring high-quality programs to the membership, and serve as a reliable and high-quality organization. Individuals who donate at the workshop, as well as one week prior and after the event, will be eligible for a gift from our generous in-kind supporters.
