2020 Election: Your Voice & Your Vote Matter
This year has brought tumultuous change in all areas of our lives, culminating to a divisive campaign season and election aftermath.
The leaders, legislators, and judges of our country have and will continue to make decisions that have life-changing consequences for everyone in our community. And although we hope and believe things will get better moving forward, we recognize that there is still so much work to be done. We thank everyone who actively participated in the democratic process--from voting, to volunteering, to advocating for causes you care about.
We remain unwavering in our values of justice and community, knowing that the fight to protect the rights and lives of black, indigenous, people of color, and LGTBQIA+ folks is still critical.
We will continue to work hard every day to create a community where we foster inclusive spaces, equity in our actions, and accessibility to those who have been routinely shut out or forgotten.
The work is not over. YNPN San Diego remains committed to keep showing up, speaking up, and learning how to build a better nonprofit sector and community.
We are here for you.
And we will move forward.
In Solidarity,
