Join YNPN San Diego on Tuesday, March 27 from 6pm to 8pm at Volunteers of America Southwest (3530 Camino del Rio North, Suite 300, San Diego, CA 92108) to participate in the Bystander & Ally Intervention training facilitated by CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) San Diego

In fall of 2017, CAIR San Diego began providing Bystander & Ally Intervention Training to help the greater San Diego community better deal with the animosity-filled climate many in our country were facing. The bystander effect is a psychological phenomenon that often prevents people from intervening on behalf of victims of harassment, assault, or other criminal activity. Through training in non-violent intervention methods and role playing in practice scenarios, trainees learn the methods and techniques to circumvent the powerful social pressure to stay silent. In this training, you will learn how to tackle issues of Islamophobia, Racism, LGBT&Q Discrimination and Misogyny. Learn more about the great work CAIR San Diego is doing in the community

Cost: Free for members and non-members

We are limited to 40 seats at the event so please RSVP today.
