This month we will be chatting with Kristen Martinez Mihalko, who is Director of Operations at Balboa Park Cultural Partnership.

Kristen is the Director of Operations for the Balboa Park Cultural Partnership, where she manages internal operations and oversees several collaborative programs and projects, including the Balboa Park Explorer Pass, Parkwide IDEA (inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility) Working Group, and the Balboa Park Experience Plan. An advocate for career development and personal growth, she currently serves on several boards: California Association of Museums, Western Museums Association, and Balboa Art Conservation Center. Past service includes: YNPN San Diego, Rising Arts Leaders San Diego, National Emerging Museum Professionals Network, and the San Diego Emerging Museum Professionals. She holds a Master’s Degree in Strategic Communications from National University and a certificate in Arts and Culture Leadership from University of San Diego.
